Social Media becomes its own movement

There's buzz around using social media in a variety of forms in healthcare. Spread Learning Curriculum based on Spread Book

Spread Learning Curriculum based on Spread Book Sarah Fraser wrote the first book on the topic of "Accelerating the Spread of Good Practice in Healthcare" in 2002. It is available in English, Dutch, Danish and Swedish. Written as a workbook it has become a text book for teams learning how they might better implement widespread changes. As an alternative to "Author in the Room" you may be interested in the 4 x 1hr conference call curriculum that is based around the book. Participants read and apply between the 2-3 weekly calls. The Facilitating Change Forum is available at http://www.facilitating.ning.com/ Anyone is welcome to join in. This is a bit of a sandpit for those who'd like to test out how social networking works without having to commit to Facebook or something similar. Have a go and see who you might meet, make friends with and start your own discussion or group. There is currently a group for Patient Safety, another for Lean and one on Spread.
