This interactive workshop is designed to provide participants with the time and experience to update their skills and abilities in using a variety of the latest web-based technologies. It will assume you are a confident PC user though it will not go into the depth of any web-based system but rather travel through a variety, giving you the confidence to later explore further on your own. By the end of this session you will understand more about the possibilities of the latest technologies and how they might support your role as well as enable the application and implementation of business strategies in innovative ways.

Projects need project managers and you most likely trained many people with face to face facilitation techniques over the years. Others will have received training in how to use their computers. However, the ability to bring together the technology and the new virtual ways of working is an entirely new skill. Just as you would not dream of handing over the keys of your new car to an unlicensed driver, even the most experienced facilitator can have a hard time getting the virtual world to work well. It’s different.
In this course you have a number of options. You can choose to start off by doing some face to face work to get started and then switch to working virtually as a group, so you can develop your skills and practice your learning. Or it can be virtual from the start.
